Cambrian College Varsity
The Cambrian College Athletics department has a fitness facility as well as Varsity and Intramural teams playing in a variety of sports.
Since 2012, the Athletics department has been a major focus of my portfolio at Cambrian where I have been the lead and sole designer on many major projects like the Varsity microsite, 2017 & 2019 Varsity championship branding, as well as creation of team uniforms and apparel for athletes.

Varsity Microsite Exploration
The varsity athletics department wanted their own mircrosite where they could have greater control over the content that they can change and promote. The main challenge with this project was to give them their own space online, create a seamless transition from the main website, and maintain a visual design language commonality even though, on the backend, they would be using a different platform and coding language than the main site.
Denouement – The Untangling
To bridge the gap between the two sites, I created Photoshop mock-ups for our in-house developers using the same navigation design as the mother site, while tweaking the content to fit the needs of the varsity department. I carried over common elements like button design and icons to further maintain visual unity.
2019 OCAA Women's Volleyball Championship
In 2019, Cambrian College hosted the annual OCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship – I was tasked with the branding for the event – they needed everything from a logo, social media and ad promo, printed signage and materials for the event. We even hired a local photographer to stage some amazing photos that I art directed.
For the final logo, I used Cambrian’s corporate font, and used pieces of the Cambrian Golden Shield logo to build a logo that felt part of the larger Cambrian family.
